As mentioned before, Infinite Skills employees are granted a $500 charitable donation that is made on their behalf to the charity of their choice. As such, full-time employee Claire Collakou has decided to make her full donation out to the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign.

Screen Shot 2014-04-30 at 11.16.10 AMThe YMCA Strong Kids Campaign aims to raise funds for specific YMCA programs that work to give kids and young adults the opportunity to reach their full potential. These programs help children, teens, and young adults in communities across the country to live healthy, happy, and productive lives, regardless of their background or financial situation.

“There are many children’s programs and not enough for teens and young adults. I believe, in this digital/gadget age, the Teens and Young Adults program gives back to the community by providing adolescents with leadership skills, mentoring values, a place to call their own by being who they are without judgment, and a feeling of being needed by helping others, which makes everyone feel useful and respected.” – Claire Collakou

A donation to the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign could go towards a number of things, such as helping a child learn to swim, enabling a family to use a quality child care service, or helping a struggling family to enjoy fun activities at their local YMCA facility.
