You may have noticed on different parts of our website or on our Facebook page, or our YouTube channel, that we are very, very interested in getting the word out about the InfiniteSkills Training Videos app for the iPhone and iPad. We have put a tremendous amount of effort into its development, it offers an amazing value to customers (free to download and watch demos and only $10 a month for FULL access to ALL courses), and it keeps getting better.
The newest improvement to the app is the ability to download lessons and save them for offline viewing on your device. Today we’re going to take a look at how it works. Due to image size constraints we are showing screenshots from the iPhone version, but we highly recommend using an iPad to get the most immersive experience.
When you go to the Lessons tab within a title, you can now see a download button to the right of every lesson:
Once you’ve clicked to download a lesson you’d like to save for offline viewing, the download button becomes a pause button in case you hit it accidentally or change your mind. When your ready to view or manage your offline videos by themselves, you can click on the new Downloads button at the bottom of the app homescreen. The Downloads section gives you a full summary of the amount of space on your device, the size of each saved video, and, if you click the edit button at the top, you get an option to delete any of the videos:
Our goal is to make it as simple as possible to download and manage lessons from our courses, all on the go. And of course, just in case you haven’t seen it for yourself, we’ve also packed in a nice, compact suite of playback controls to make viewing as easy as ever. They seamlessly disappear as your video starts and are accessible at any time with a tap.
If you’ve got an iOS device, there’s no reason not to give the app a try. It’s free to download, and without paying anything you have access to hundreds of free demos spanning our entire library. Then if you decide you do want to pay $10, you get access to absolutely everything, including work files you can download to your computer from our site. Let us know what you think. We’re always using customer feedback to improve the app and our entire product line.
While it is not currently available, an Android version will be coming in the future.
