Back in December 2013, Infinite Skills employee Peter Ong made a generous donation toSickKids hospital in Toronto, Ontario as part of our company’s Charitable Donation Program. This program allows any full-time Infinite Skills employee to donate up to $500 a year to the charity of their choice. With the start of a new year, Peter didn’t waste any time in selecting his charity of choice: Walk for Memories Alzheimer Society – The Goldie Gang Team.
A close friend of mine is on the team. We have been friends for about 20 years and I have been donating to their cause for the last 10 years in support of my friend, his family, and most importantly, the individuals affected by this disease.
The Alzheimer Society Walk for Memories is a province-wide (Ontario, Canada) event aimed to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and education. The walk is held annually in over 65 communities across Ontario, and it calls upon participants of all ages to help support people living with dementia.
