New Tips for Adobe Edge Animate CC 2014

If you’re an Adobe Creative Cloud member who uses Edge Animate CC, you may have noticed a new 2014 version earlier this year, with some significantly expanded functionality. We’ve now built upon our Adobe Edge Animate tutorial video course to help you get started with these features.

In this post, you’ll get a free look at some of our training videos that show the program’s new integrated capabilities for working with video, which makes the program an even more compelling solution for getting away from Flash for browser-based content.

Native Video Integration

With the Release 2014, Edge Animate offers full support for HTML5 video, which is good news in terms of compatibility and removes the need for complex Javascript workarounds some people had resorted with older versions of Edge. In the first video, you’ll learn how to do a basic import of a video, using Properties for playback controls, and in the second video, you’ll get a closer look at creating clickable interface buttons that control different aspects of playback.
